Al Shabaab, the Al Qaeda group in Somalia mostly led by non-Somali Arabs, has been severely hurt by Kenya invading southern Somalia at the same time Ethiopia invaded from the west. Al Shabaab is responsible for several terrorist attacks on the United States. As a bonus the US has been fighting a covert drone war in Somalia.
The people of Kenya have rejected Obama's cousin Odinga for president ... twice. That puts them two up on us.
