My congressman, who's part of that group of about 70 or so who promote themselves as "grassroots conservatives" on amnesty and other issues, got a fundraising boost from the amnesty architect, John Boehner, this week.

It proves my point that over 90 percent of the GOP politicians we elect are phony business as usual politicians, including many who bill themselves as "conservatives" or "patriots" like this guy who's my congressman.

This MSM story focuses on the leftie protestors outside but towards the end gets to the main point.

My "conservative patriot" congressman speaks of Boehner "The speaker's got a tough job right......He's got to get the whole spectrum together on moving things forward. And he needs to be able to appeal to all sides."

The news story goes on to say "Perry said that even though they don't always agree, they are on the same team."

ARE WE ON THE SAME TEAM AS JOHN BOEHNER?????????

I am not, but my congressman is on the same team with Boehner.

Needless to say, my Boehner supporting congressman does not deserve to be elected again next year......

I will vote against Perry in the primary and general elections but only for a real conservative primary challenger or third party if this phony conservative makes it past the primary.

What a coincidence - I'm not particularly welcoming towards him either.

VERY disappointing for Perry to embrace Boehner like this. Perry had strong TEA party support when he was elected as Todd Platts replacement, but is now getting corrupted. I wonder what he gave Boehner in exchange for appearing at his fund raiser?

John Boehner: "The speaker's got a tough job right?" Perry said. "He's got to get the whole spectrum together on moving things forward. And he needs to be able to appeal to all sides."

One cannot imagine Nancy Pelosi ever saying such a thing.

obamacare is good for congress. First of all, they get great coverage on the cheap. Plus, they get their kickbacks from insurance companies. And all those companies that go to part time employees might figure out a way to save some money. They can then “donate” the savings to congress creeps. There’s money everywhere!

Voting for a republican is not going to do anyone any good.

From the headline I hoped the Tea party were protesting Boehner. I am sad its the libs.

These protesters know Boehner supports them. Waste of time for them to protest him.
