Don't Singapore and HongKong make their living by arbitraging the cheap labor in China and selling to the rest of the world?

China with a still largely communist model and taxes that are over 90% of China's GDP is doing great too! At our expense!!! And thanks to lowered import tariffs!!!

The city of Detroit employs a ferrier, even though it no longer has horses. But his job is protected.

We can see the economic consequences of that type of thinking.
