The express purpose of the Second Amendment IS to protect We The People from a potentially over-reaching or tyrannical government and among all the Founders we have James Madison to thank the most for it being included in The Bill of Rights. And if this stupid Democrat doesn’t think that’s the reason someone should ask him what the real reason for the 2A is.
