I don’t think people in Detroit know about this or would they like Hillary just say “What difference does it make?”
The good pastor too, is a victim sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. There is no national outcry over this. No pointing fingers. No jessee jacksons and al sharptons doing a war dance.
That’s because there’s no Whitey in sight to blame.
I have to agree with SoldierDad. Our ancestors took great risks to come here and we preserved the right to travel freely among the states (9th?).
Maybe the blacks will make the (absurd) argument that they were brought here against their will, so have no obligation to look, to make an effort for better lives.
But they aren’t `trapped.’ Many black people emigrated from the American South to places like Chicago and Detroit for the jobs after WWII.
They could have their gooberment `paychecks’ forwarded to a new address. That apartment complex appears to be a Section VIII `safety net’ (maybe not) for the immigrants who just can’t seem to get with the whole American Dream thing after hundreds of years.
The more I think about, I’m fed up with Black History Month, Black this and that, and whatnot. And tired of trying to understand the `Black Experience.’
Here’s hoping they stay in the urban he!!-holes they helped create. Those of us just trying to get along don’t need their drama, crime and BS.
Oh yeah, and FUBO!
I agree. Bankrupt is of good people, also.

I say this as my daughter is in Detroit now on a 2-day job assignment and will not rest until she returns home on Wed night.
We do... but the country ignores us.
What is another name for a lamb surrounded by jackals?...Dinner... A good person living in the jungle... Dies in the jungle....
“Do your “ANIMALS” include those who are hopelessly trapped?”
They are hopeless because they are afraid of the unknown. Only the worst stay behind.
Orcs.
P.S. If the city you lived in became crime ridden and hopeless, would you sit still while it crumbled around you?
RIP Pastor.
Advice to the family is, PACK UP and MOVE OUT from Detroit. The city is dying little by little.
Jesse Jackson and Barack H. Obama don’t give a sh!t about this man’s life.
No political advantage.
Apparently the pastor didn't...
I believe I would take what I could carry and walk out of that area. Inconvenience for a while is worth your and your family’s survival. Look at it as an adventure to better times. Many immigrants arrive here with nothing and have great lives.
Many of the remaining survivors are the elderly and retired who never experienced living in your presumed perfect world.........How do they move? Where do they go? More importantly, how do they sell their houses?
Just keep in mind bro that it's likely people like them were the ones doing the trash jobs that you and your college educated homies wouldn't have thought about doing.........In other words, you'd have had to clean your own urinals.
For the elderly and retired trapped in the city, how do they move forward out of houses they can't sell into suburban neighborhoods they can't afford to buy into?
Where there is a will there is a way.
Yes, I'm sure you would, Utah is a very pretty state with pretty cities. Where would you walk to? And once you got there, where would you live? You couldn't sell your house so you had to abandon it and since you're elderly and on limited income, as many of the trapped Detroit residents are, what do you think you can afford once you've reached your city of choice?
Life is very good for you in Tennessee isn't it? How's your christian compassion with your church working out?
I’d live in a cardboard box if I had to. I’d eat handouts. I’d do whatever I had to. I might even die trying that strategy if I was infirm and/or elderly...but I wouldn’t be putting up with the LIB-inspired life. Toughen-up.
RIP preacher!
Probably he was shot by some deranged drug taking POS.
