The POTUS is briefed in the late afternoon that a consulate is under attack on 9/11. He then disappears in the early evening after a phone conference with Bibi, and doesn’t resurface until he’s on AF1 on the way to his Vegas fundraiser.

The WH has declined, repeatedly, to describe his whereabouts.

Sounds to me like Barry had an appointment in Boystown, and he wasn’t going to miss it for anything as trivial as a murdered Ambassador.
