I worked with someone in a professional setting that pulled the exact same move -- dude, chick.... wait a second, I want to be a dude again.
We were all supposed to be casual about it, and we feared that if we said anything negative it would be us that was looked at as the wrong-headed person and it could jeopardize our employment. With that said, some female employees did complain about shim using the ladies' restroom during his chick phase.
