I responded in that thread. The actual number is under 4000. But that wouldn't have gotten the reaction she was looking for so she said it was in the millions.
I can vouch for Germany...if you rounded up 100,000 Germans and asked them who Oprah was or to ID her....99-percent would say Oprah-who. She’s the most unknown character out of the US top 100 in Europe.
Exactly. I know it was just fantasy but Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman was a WHITE woman who was denied service at a store on Rodeo Drive because she looked like a hooker. Clearly not racism. The store in Zurich may have thought Oprah Hogfrey could not afford the item and their treatment of her had absolutely nothing to do with the color of her skin. Libs are always quick to cry racism when they don’t get their way. Even over-paid hogs like Oprah.
I'm just trying to find out what will fulfill their expectations... I just want to make them happy. I'm confused.
In other words the Black on Black murder rate in Chicago alone is higher in a year than the number of Blacks lynched in any given year. Even without extending the Greater Chicago area out to include Gary, Indiana the Chicago area produces more murdered Blacks in a year than the entire Jim Crow South could produce in a year due to non-due-process hangings.
I have had the same treatment when buying expensive gifts for my wife here in the US. I am a male and very white. Who can I cry to?
More likely that O’s salesclerk didn’t like Americans. I’ve experienced that when traveling in Europe. Some will come out and tell you to leave and some just ignore you and won’t serve you. I’ve been in some expensive stores there and was totally ignored, but I’ve also been treated really well. Racism had nothing to do with it.
When I asked him if all those images of the Jews in concentration camps were real he told me not to believe everything I read in our American history books.
I’m sorry, I just don’t f*cking believe her.
I recall Orca went to France and had gone to a fashion store only to find they were closed. Looks like the Obama’s mama was refused in and she cried out racism.
I experienced salesgirl snobbery in Geneva - despite not being underdressed myself. I guess when you’re stuck selling stuff you can never ever afford to rich people you get that way.
While I was in the store someone they called “Princess” came waltzing in - she definitely was not getting the evil eye. I figured she was an Arab from her looks.
Needless to say I saved myself some money by spending nothing in their snotty place.
Yeah, it’s hard to find credibility in anyone who would support a Marxist Kenyan for POTUS simply because they happen to have the same skin color.
Poor Oprah.
Good grief. Oprah is the one of the biggest racists ever.
If they weren’t so lily white they might be....yes I know the place
Many breakfasts in the atrium room at the Bar au Lac
Or strippers with snakes in Old Zurich
Just how big is Vaduz?
Etc
I know the area
Like Yankee creepers who south bash here
Live as a minority in a minority majority environ
Then preach to me
Was she wearing a Moo Moo and hiking boots like last time?
I know that racism still exists, but it seems every time a liberal minority doesn’t get what they want, they cry racism. This does nothing but make people feel they “cry wolf” and then when a real racial incident occurs, people don’t look at it as seriously as it may be.
Oprah is yelling racism because some one didn’t sell her a certain item. If the whole world is so racist, she never would have had the money in the first place.
My niece was working at the mall and saving her money to buy a $350 Coach bag. Yeah, I know, she didn’t need it. But she was earning the money herself. She went into the store to see which one she would like when she had the money saved. The sales lady would not let her touch any of the bags. She’s white. Nothing was said of it, although niece wasn’t happy. When she had the money saved, she went in with cash, showed it to them, looked at three bags and bought the one she wanted. No big deal.
