In other words, those who cling to civilized values, pay their bills, work hard to get ahead, and make all the sacrifices to maintain society.... we’re screwed, thanks to the barbarians at the gates.
I do believe you’re correct. One of my friends who has Medicare thinks it’s wonderful that she can get all her regular check-ups done now every year and “it no longer costs her one thin dime”. Attitudes like this, regardless of an individual’s age, make my hair stand on end. Who does she think pays the doctor?
