I didn’t have terrible parents....my point was that only a small percentage of American parents have the resources to home school their children. I’m all for home schooling if practicable. But the facts are in most cases either both parents work, the parents are not qualified to teach, or both. If the parent is qualified, fine. But how many parents are qualified to teach higher level math, physics, and chemistry? Don’t expect every family to be able to pull their kids out of school and home school them.

People can educate themselves. You sound like the gungrabbers who can’t comprehend that law-abiding citizens can learn to safely handle firearms and shoot really well them. That’s only for police and military folks.

I'd say most are not but again, you are completely unaware of the options out there fro homeschool parents to avail themselves of in subject areas where they are not proficient.

You way underestimate the motivation of homeschoolers to provide where they are lacking.

Nobody said the parents have to do it ALL.
