So what is the big deal on this? What fence? Why fight everyone? What is the story?

Riley Cooper, a backup receiver for the Eagles, was apparently at a Kenny Chesney concert and had had several drinks. He wished to go backstage, was prevented from doing so by a black security guard, became aggrieved and announced that he was eager to jump a security fence and fight every black person there, with the racial slur used instead of 'black person'. This scene was recorded on someone's phone and promptly uploaded to YouTube or Instagram or some other social media site.

So he should be chastised mostly for the threats of abuse and assault!

But no, the big news is he used The Only Forbidden Word. Never mind he might beat someone to a pulp, that’s OK and to be expected. But uttering a word is unforgivable!
