Memphis is falling apart. The city and the Shelby County government officials are killing the golden goose.

The slow, steady, decline seems to have become a cascade.

Sad.

If the New Madrid goes the nearest place that will still have infrastructure is near Selmer, Tennessee, and Corinth, Mississippi. If the New Madrid goes, our plans for disaster preparedness are to blow the bridges over the Wolf and Hatchie Rivers to keep the Memphis trash between there and the Mississippi River. I won't travel to Memphis unless I am armed. Even driving through Memphis is becoming dangerous.
