Understood. I'm just trying to sort out the semantics. Supposedly "black" is a race characterized by African ancestry, but Clarence Thomas, Walter Williams, et al aren't considered authentically "black". That seems to imply a black stereotype. I suspect "white culture" is just another stereotype.
Sorry about that...I knew where you were comming from. I just went to the absurd to point out the absurd.
I do however think that if we take control of the conversation and replace “acting white” with “acting successful” it will make people re-evaluate the saying.
