Railings don’t usually just give out with a thin woman like that leaning up against it. My guess is that her and her date were engaged in some sweet balcony sex when the railing gave out when his railing got too hard.
That’s the conclusion hubby and I came to as well.
Not saying she deserved it, but a close examination of the railing should have prompted a quick exit back indoors for that sort of activity.
Gravity wins every single time.
Then, please explain how the date avoided falling too.
Regardless, balcony railings are supposed to keep people from falling — including people a lot heavier than this woman.
If one checks the photos of the railing, as i see it concrete formed with NO
re-enforcement by rebar/iron!
It happens that crooked Contractors skimp/skip on the rebar that codes call for.
