What Congress just did to you is appalling. I would not do this to you in a million years and I doubt you would do this either. It is indecent….just WRONG. Read the previous Politico story posted where it reports that Congress, as it races out the door for 5 week vacation, exempted itself (and staff) from Obamacare. So let me get this straight….they push OBAMACARE on EVERY OTHER AMERICAN except themselves. Really? Unbelievable, isn’t it?

And it gets more disgusting….the article says there was a bit of a rush to get their exemption passed before their 5 week vacation because the Health Care Exchanges open October 1. They needed to make sure they were not disrupted. Really? They had to take care of themselves with the exchanges date of October 1….but the CONTINUING RESOLUTION that funds the government (AND IMPACTS YOU) expires September 30 but they are ignoring that until after their 5 week vacation.

So…let me get this straight….what matters to YOU and is their job to handle can wait until their 5 week vacation is over. What matters to them, gets done NOW, before their 5 week vacation. They come first even though they work for you and you even pay for their 5 week vacation....

I knew this was happening. They are the ruling elite. They make laws for the common herd and not for themselves. They live high off the hog off our hard-earned money.

With all of the waivers and exemptions in place already, the equal protection clause has been completely ignored.

I love to watch Greta, she is such a well-meaning, good government naif.

She has no idea the Democrats are themselves fixed in an interlocking web of power groups which has generated its own morality having nothing to do with her nice, Protestant, Midwestern upbringing. They do not share her values, indeed, they despise her values.

That what they do in this instance is elitist and rankly unfair does not even enter into their mental calculus except to consider that it might affect them at the polls. They have transcended morality as evidenced by the fact that this selfish act is one of such breathtaking cynicism. The Democrat party and their interest groups are so invested in their obsessive identity politics that they draw their ethics and morality from their own ideology.

The question to them is not whether this is fair, but whether this is due to them as a member of this group? Just as the question was not whether the facts showed George Zimmerman guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, the decision for them turned on whether Travon Martin was black and Zimmerman was "white," their right to these taxpayer subsidies comes from their identity.

The question is not whether it is legal, not whether it is fair, certainly not whether it is constitutional, but whether this is the booty set aside for this group?

This kind of elitist cronyism is inevitable in a socialist environment. The Nomenklatura always get the Dachas.
