The only all-star game thats worth anything is baseballs, and even then they introduced the inane idea of letting it decide home-field advantage in the World Series. They only did that to try to make it matter after the "There's no tying in baseball" debacle in 2002. They ran out of players because it was more important to get every player on the field than it was to win, like some Little League game.

Yes, I know. They didn’t have that problem this year though. Expanding the rosters was probably a good idea in that regard.
