Sometimes in very cold places or under cold water as long as 30 minutes , but bringing back the brain dead doesnt sound too bright to me.

The story doesn’t make sense. If they had such drugs they would have to inject them in the first 4 minutes. If they inject the drugs in the firt 4 minutes why woiuld they wait 24 hrs to save the body.
I guess you could say they were repairing it with operations for 24 hrs. This could work for young accident victims , but for us old codgers why bother.?
If the heart isn’t beating these “cell death preventing” drugs can’t get to the cells. So even if this becomes possible the person would have to be in a hospital or have cpr started quickly.
