Its official: Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) will face a Tea Party challenger in 2014.
A spokesperson for Republican Nancy Mace, who is already being billed as a Tea Party favorite, confirmed to TheBlaze on Thursday that she plans to challenge Graham for his Senate seat in the 2014 Republican primary. She plans to make a special announcement about her run at the Berkeley County GOP Breakfast on Saturday.
The spokesperson said the campaign will be releasing more information and Mace will be doing interviews following the formal announcement.
Mace is the first woman to graduate from The Citadel, a military college in the Palmetto State. She is also a wife, mother and small business owner from Goose Creek, S.C. According to her campaign website, she is the proud daughter of retired Army Brigadier Gen. Emory Mace.

yes, but she’s not the answer....
I’d be happy if she just had a Republican challenger. Linda is a textbook Southern Democrat.
May the bloodletting commence!
I am with you, Grahmanesty has to be taken out.
At this stage I would support a Dem over him.
Grahamnesty is one of the most dishonest and deceitful Rs in the congress.
And why would that be?
Always possible she’s just a ringer.
AMF
Brannon, McGeehan, Mace, Clovis, Palin.
TEA PARTY VICTORY 2014
Praying that it will be successful
Republican primary? Did he switch parties? I thought he was running on a Gay Party ticket?
I will vote for the other girl.
I still remember the ‘JD isnt good enough to support’ crap posted here by a few in 2010 McCain AZ primary. Now look what we got.
Screw that again. Grahamnesty is EVEN WORSE than McCain.
I'd even support a Dem over Grahamnesty now.
“Please get rid of him!”
But, but, but what will poor Juan McLame do without his girlfriend????
Great News! Throw the bums out.
Gotta link to donate?
State Senator Bill Brite is running. He looks fairly solid to me.
Not sure she is really what we want, but literally ANYTHING is an improvement. So, I guess we can count on somebody else jumping in, the Tea Party vote being split, and Little Gay Lindsey getting back in? Wish I could be more positive on this.
A first pass has her looking good. That may change, but for now, she’s far better than little lord lindsay the meek.
