Collecting is probably within the law.
Sifting through it without a warrant could be an issue.

The garbage man picks up plenty of info twice a week.

“Collecting is probably within the law.”

Stalking without probable cause.

“The garbage man picks up plenty of info twice a week.”

I don’t believe they collect it, organize it by name, find out who your connections are, look at credit card receipts for everything you spend money on, collect all your pictures, etc. They pick up trash and bury it.

Why is it today seems like New World Order shill day? Mindless attacks on Paul on another thread, relentlessly going after Snowden here.

I forgot to add one caveuat to Republicans I will never vote for and that’s the NeoCons calling Snowden a traitor. Bums.

Now as to your argument, I find that you want to believe in your country which is noble, and you think collecting the data much like one collects trash is just fine. Once again why are you not getting the fact that this data can be used to compile a dossier that shows you are a potential threat someday. Gun Owner? Veteran? Posts all the Time on Free Republic? Speaks about the constitution and the Bill of Rights. Put this guy on a watch list.

Heck maybe they can snag your google password and start trading child porn in your name. Silly of course, but is it? You apparently have no regard for your personal effects?

Plus, what kind of massive public spending of tax dollars went into this without even so much as a discussion? Have you no regard for the money you send to DC? What about the Neo-Fascist forced government-corporate partnerships.
