I do not believe unemployment has dropped....rather I believe, wholeheartedly, that less people are filing because they can’t anymore, because they’ve been unemployed THAT long.
Leave it to the spin machine of the RATS though, to try and make it seem like candy and rainbows.

Not to mention unemployment is a one year service so those that go from job to job during that year and get laid off are not counted. There is a tremendous number of temporary workers including “contractor” engineers. I know many people that have been laid off from several jobs during a year period that are not counted in these numbers.
We just hired 250+ people in February and have laid off all but 50 so far. Many of those had been laid off within the previous year, but none of those are counted in these numbers.
