Must be a real trip watching him eat an eaar of corn, too
we were forced to bed at 10...non negociable....I had a b$w small tv w/ a 25 ft ear bud...I’d darken the brightness so it did not shine thru under the door and watch Johnny Carson every nite for a decade
My brother and ZI were addicted to talk radio......the “George Reed Affair” was on “late” (bout 9-11) and he would have contests...jumbled words......or he would play a few bars of a song, and the listener calling in had to sing the first 2 lines.......my brother was smart as hell, he ALAWAYS figured out the answer, but he made ME call in and ewither sing the tune as he whispered in my ear (funny as chit) OR, gave me the jumbled word.......the b*tch was calling in real quiet.......but after we won.....waking up my dad to go pick up the pizza we just won from “Johnnys” place LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOND memories.....Dad ALWAYS went to get the pizza..........NEVER scolded us once (he musta liked pizza)...The biggest joke was dad saying “Johnny remodelled the pizza place........he changed his T-shirt!” (hey, ti was the early 60s...it didnt take much to make us laugh ;-)
Speaking of funny as hekll radio show call ins......picture it......my cousins and my family are visiting......having a bit of wine.......talking about how their kid likes call in radio.......so we turn it on for the hell of it...and I swear...within 3 minutes we hear on the radio “garden show”....
“Hello, my name is Ben (he was 8 at the time) and I am having problems with my gourds”
It was my cousins son who was allegedly in bed asleep!!
I think the parental AND relatives laughter awakened the entire county!!!!!!!!!!!!
those were great times...am radio back in the day had the call in contests...but bein Texans sometimes the prize was a bucket of minnows for fishing a lake ...no chit
I’d pay a farthing to see that one, dear lady! Pint of bitters or ale?
Signing-off; nite.
OMG! I was hoping it was some kind of an animal, maybe a sheep or a goat. I have seen some deformities but that is absolutely awful! Poor guy!!!!!!
