TAVARES, Fla. —Propane explosions at the Blue Rhino LP gas plant rocked the Tavares area on Monday night.

The plant is located at the 300 block of County Road 448 and several residential areas surround it. A 1-mile evacuation of the area was ordered before midnight.

A massive emergency response was called for after multiple injuries were reported.

Several locals called WESH 2 to report seeing flames and hearing loud explosions.

WESH saying SOME of the 15 unaccounted people have been accounted for!

Last report on live feed suggests some of the 15 are being found alive and okay ... number not given as to those found alive and okay of missing 15.

Now being reported that within the last few minutes some of the 15 missing have been accounted for and are safe. No specific numbers on how many at this time.

You are correct. Prayers for them! These terrible stories are becoming so common that I’ve found myself fixated more on abstract causes than the individual suffering. I get beat down with all the bad news out there but those families and victims are the ones truly suffering.

WESH is saying the 15 unaccounted for employees left and got out of harms way and at this point, they have found no fatalities! They are being cautious as the firefighters must go inside and double check, but management believes they have accounted for all who were in the bldg..
