It is an impressive place, but for a free people to erect a gargantuan statue of any man and then surrounding it with his words carved into the walls is grotesque and unseemly.
i must admit that i do not concur... but i would like to know how you feel about just his words being on display... no statue? to me, the words mean more than the statue... or the words mean more to me than does the statue... which was much larger than i expected, btw...
