Next time, they'll discover that "ensuring the guns are stored safely" involves monthly, then weekly physical searches of the gun owner's home or the gun club by a SWAT team carrying fully-automatic weapons. This costs $20,000. per visit
But you're still more than welcome to own a shotgun....OF COURSE they'd never try to prevent you from having one.

Agreed, and there are MANY politicians and uninformed, frightened and weak people who would dearly love to have a similar state of affairs here in the USA.
Nothing terrifies the Left more than an informed and strong public.
