I agree with you.. If the Government shuts down, and the MSM gets on a roll, the GOP will lose any chance they have in the midterms.. They can’t overcome the wall to wall beating the media will unleash..
If you stop and think of how it will be seen by the low info voters that don’t get the check in their mailbox on time.. Remember there has never been as many takers as there is right now..
Don’t start a fight you know you can’t win unless you have a plan that only losers can take the high ground, unless pity is your goal..
Everyone should realize that regardless of what any Tea Partier or Freepers want, shutting down the gov’t will accomplish nothing, as we only have one half of the House, no Senate, and no Presidency. Therefore, the Senate will not go along with abolishing Obamacare, nor will, obviously, Obama. So abolishing Obamacare is not going to be accomplished, regardless of whether the gov’t is shut down or how the House votes. Live with it.
We must get back the Senate in the mid-terms as well as hope the people will raise such a hue and cry about Obamacare that even the Dems must listen, although Obama would still veto any attempts to do away with it. But we’d have many more cards to play if we can win back the Senate in the mid-term elections.
