Washington (CNN) -- In what it called its largest crackdown to date on child prostitution, the FBI announced Monday that a nationwide operation over the weekend resulted in 150 arrests, with 105 children rescued.
Authorities said the operation, which took investigators to race tracks and truck stops, also targeted the use of social media sites for child prostitution activity.
Overall, the three-day undercover roundup Operation Cross Country took place in 76 cities and involved 230 law enforcement units, according to the FBI.

He said at a news conference that a prime environment for child prostitution is major sporting events such as the Super Bowl, where authorities had "multiple recovery of children" in the past.

But you have to understand that I have not held the FBI in any great esteem for quite some time; long before Obama and Holder.
FBI not the great police organization that its reputation would suggest.
Just as an example the 302 interview process is grossly outdated and any judge that holds any information recorded on a 302 as admissible evidence should be impeached and removed from office.
First publish their names, addresses, pictures.
But are THE TARGETS all related to each other some how?
Me too!!!!!!
This could be the man-boy equivalent of Stonewall. After all, eliminating the age of consent IS the next "civil rights struggle" in the prog pipeline.
Boy that sure put a dent in mac daddies future administration pool.
Soon he will have to gain access to those resources in Iran.
Why havent they arrested this ADMITTED child prostitution user...?
That sure as heck disappeared off the radar real quick.
Since this sting operation has anyone seen Senator Menendez?
Most aren’t directly, but many are in communication through prostituting websites. There are now websites that are like Craig’s List for prostitutes. A concentrated operation gives you a small window to round up a fair number of people before they can burn the op by posting their arrest on those websites.
I am waiting on the names..and I bet they have a Latin ping to them....
All jokes and politics aside for this one...I applaud all of these agencies for their efforts. Bravo, well done, thank you, and I hope you catch every last scumbag involved.
It really depends on the area.
A lot of wives and girfriends are going to read that, and a lot of guys won't be attending any more big games.
Hear! Hear! Provided, however, that "them" only includes those arrested whom the government can prove guilty beyond a reasonable doubt before a jury of their peers.
I think you meant Menendez. Martinez was a disappointment but I doubt he was into something as vile as this.
Just scratching the surface, but you’re welcome. Worked a butt load of unpaid OT last week on this op.
That's called a "shit sandwich".....the good stuff is on the inside but ya got to ruin it with whatever you wish to coat it with.
I used to work for a manager like that, no matter what contribution one made, he could never bring himself to offer congratulations but rather more negative criticism.......I'm sure it sucked being him.
I'm glad they're getting attention and probably help (although it is quite likely they'll be back to the "trade" in no time), but I'm not sure I'd be bragging about the production numbers in this way, if I were the LEO in charge of the PR on this one.
