The problem with atheism is the same problem with Islam. Both oppose the practice of any other religion. Both are in fundamental conflict with our constitution. They do not support the freedom to practice religion, only the requirement that government permit only the practice of their own.
Separation of church and state dogmatists insist that government is society. It is not.
Under our constitution society creates government, not the reverse. The freedom of religious practice as a public and private act must not be restricted. Opposition to this doctrine is tyrannical and must not be tolerated. That is, opposition to religious freedom, whether public or private, is the cornerstone of intolerance.
