Half the world has been ravaged with the purveyors of so-called “positive atheism”, to use the neologism.
The article isn't about the political implications of atheism, any more than an article on the technical definition of theism such as this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theism
would be about the political implications of a theocracy.
I ask again: Is it not a flaw of the article in the OP that it lumps all atheists in the "positive" camp? The arguments it uses to counter the atheist viewpoint in no way apply to someone who makes no assertion that a God or gods do not exist, but simply has no belief in it/her/him/them.
Negative atheism, in other words.
