When I was a punk teen and twenty-something, I did drugs, dealt drugs, debased women, burglarized homes and was kicked out of both high school and college for my behavior.
When I was sixteen-years-old, I was arrested on Mother’s Day for stealing water skis and was placed on probation.
I was not an “innocent teen, full of potential.” I was full of something all right, but it wasn’t potential. I was a piece of teenage, criminal crap. I chose to break the law. I chose alcohol and drug use and abuse. I chose to be an idiot and to emulate fools. I chose to disappoint my family, my country and my God. I was hell on two skinny legs and I had no one to blame but myself.
During that near decade of decadence, I’m glad I didn’t die or get killed in that state because I would have gone straight to hell. Yes, call me weird, but I believe in a literal heaven and a literal hell and I would have been on the elevator going down to the bottom floor, to spend eternity between the second, fifth and seventh concentric circles of Dante’s Inferno.
During my time of gleefully following el Diablo’s lead, I shot at people and had guns drawn on me. One summer night back in 1978, my buddies and I were ripping off a boat and were busted red-handed by the home owner who pulled out a pump shotgun, racked a round, but was unable to get off a shot because the direction in which I ran blocked his sight picture and I was able to get away.
If I would have been shot and killed that evening it would have sucked, but would have been a just punishment because my life choices put me in a direct path of destruction.
If I would have died of an overdose or from a crime that I had committed, I would hope to God that no one would stand over my casket and blame other people, or culture, or lack of education, or my neighborhood, or some other people group because that stuff was all on me. I would hope my life would have become a proverb, a veritable deterrent to aberrant behavior.
Look, young thugs, you can fault a gazillion things in life for why you do what you do and the media, reverends, activists and the press can run posthumous interference for you, gussying up your sullied past. But that doesn’t change the eternal fact that God is going to hold you personally responsible for your actions; and you cannot BS him.
If I were you, and I was at one time, I’d get on my knees, take responsibility for my sins, ask God to forgive me, repent and follow Christ instead of culture and turn that crappy life of mine around before it is too late. Trust me, you’ll never regret leaving that stupid junk behind; and I can testify that God will do abundantly and beyond all that you could ask or even imagine.

You can still change your life by being a decent person as taught by Buddhism, Baha'ism, Confucianism and all the other morality based religions of the world. Why is that?
Why is it that religions which only emphasize gaining political power (Modern Liberalism, Islamofacism) only succeed in turning out human garbage?
Who’s paying for them? Likely the local department of advocacy supported by the US DOJ.

When mammals are young, they need a lot of physical affection and care, or else their brains do not fully develop and they remain at a moron level intellectually, and the equivalent emotionally. In practical terms they are brutes whose lives are dictated by fear and impulse.
Older than infancy, their physical brains remain handicapped for the rest of their lives.
But from infancy, it is essential for them to have two parents, a heterosexual couple, because if they only have a single parent, their social skills remain undeveloped, and they are 60% more likely to criminally offend.
And this also remains with them for the rest of their lives.
Only if children have both of these things, so that their brains, emotions and social skills are developed, can they ever really “fall from grace” and become wild in their teenage years. But at least, even then, they have a chance for redemption.
While all of the above are “rules of thumb”, with many exceptions of those who beat the odds to either succeed or fail, the rules of thumb still applies for most.

The people who need this message are unlikely to hear it.
Good story of redemption and God bless his current efforts and may he continue to save souls.

This story also gives insight into the chink (can I still say that?) in the Christian armor that has been used by Hell to engineer our downfall in this world of evil.
Were this man justifiably shot or imprisoned as a wayward Yute....society would be denied his valuable contribution now.
That is the BS line that Sharpton and Obama are advancing, and that Christians have too often accepted throughout history.
No matter how bad they are, you can’t kill em cause they could find Jesus or cure cancer or whatever.
This is the argument that dismantles defense of property and self. Is one man’s life worth more than another’s? Sniff, whine, puppy eyes at the camera?
Zimmerman was already a failure and loser. There was still hope for Baby Trayvon. Z should sucked it up and been beaten to death for Baby Trayvon’s soul. Sniff, whine, puppy eyes at the camera?
Retreat. Shoot to wound. Non-deadly weapons. Don’t resist. Spread your legs and enjoy it.
Horse dump. We are each responsible for our conscious actions at the time they occur. The consequences of those actions are ours as well.
A civilized, ordered, and sane society demands that the transgressor is always wrong; The victim always right.
Sometimes, you do let God sort them out.
The other path leads to chaos. That is the path the Trayvonites wish put us on once again.
CCW. No duty to retreat. Castle Doctrine. The good guys stand a chance. Without them we are sheep put up for slaughter or to be executed should we kill a wolf of the protected class.
The people who need this message are unlikely to hear it.
And the rest can’t read especially if its in cursive.
I was spared from making many stupid mistakes by seeing the painful consequences of the same stupid mistakes by the actions of older siblings.
The purpose of some is to serve as a warning to others...
