Is "impact" now a verb?
It's not a legitimage verb, though it's used that way. "Impactful" isn't a legitimate adjective, though it, too, has been wrenched and twisted into serving as a fake adjective. I still haven't seen anyone sign an E-mail message, "Impactfully yours," but have faith it won't take much longer.
Like stupidity, illiteracy occasionally soars to dizzying heights of creativity. That's when the frantically flapping cardboard wings normally fall off.
