They fail to mention, in the article, that 4-6 MBS came out with machine guns blasting...and no wonder the military fought back....this time with real bullits.
I think it’s a mistake to assume the press knows what’s going on....I overheard press people last night saying they had to get to Rabaa where the blood was flowing because that’s what the people want to hear about.
The bottom line is you have hired thugs stirring up and shooting people and the clerics refusing to let the people go home who want to....the Brotherhood leadership is demanding they stay at least until Sunday...the last they openly stated.
Regardless....we know the Brotherhood is a violent organization that will not yield easily nor walk away until there is blood...even when it means they shoot their own..and they do. Rabaa is their “stand off” area....
Then, of course, there's the matter of the fact that most 'journalists' have no clue as to how to report what is happening. They write reports with the thought in the back of their minds (what little they have) of a Pulitzer Prize. Spun, as always, to the liberal view.
Bias? They see none. They are the bias!
“I think its a mistake to assume the press knows whats going on...”.
I think it’s a mistake to assume the press REPORTS what’s really going on. That agenda thing, you know.
Up until these events, the military was still above it all. The MB messed up by pushing this IMO. Now, the very survival of General Sisi and his senior officers is at stake.
Poor tactical decision by the MB to create bloodshed, but they have a history of poor tactical decisions so I am not surprised. Perfect example of why they can’t run the country. Those who specialize in agitation always make the worst rulers (see our own regime).
