Trayvon Martin's mother, Sybrina Fulton, said it was "devastating" to hear a juror tell ABC News in an exclusive interview that the jury in the George Zimmerman case thought the former neighborhood watchman was guilty and "got away with murder."
"It is devastating for my family to hear the comments from juror B29, comments which we already knew in our hearts to be true. That George Zimmerman literally got away with murder," Fulton said in a statement released Thursday through The Trayvon Martin Foundation. "This new information challenges our nation once again to do everything we can to make sure that this never happens to another child.
"That's why Tracy [Martin] and I have launched The Trayvon Martin Foundation to try and take something very painful and negative and turn it into something positive as a legacy to our son," Fulton added.
At the National Urban League's annual conference today in Philadelphia, Fulton asked people to "wrap your mind around what has happened."
"No prom for Trayvon. No high school graduation for Trayvon. No college for Trayvon. No grandkids coming from Trayvon," she said. "All because of a law, a law that has prevented the person who shot and killed my son to be held accountable and to pay for this awful crime."(continued)

Yeah....odd isn’t it the bitching is done by the same types who cheered the OJ verdict?
Contrary to what these people say, the laws of Florida allowed him to defend himself against a younger, more physically fit, violent thug with murder in his heart.
My only concern is that he waited as long as he did. He should have shot the bastard sooner. When more people start killing scum like St Skittles, some modicum of civilization will return to this country.
Trayvon's mom threw him out of the house. Now she's crying about her baby? (This guy is a blast.)
AMEN Brutha Testify, Can I get an Amen?, I say can get and AMEN?
yes. here we go again, libtard editing to get the words they want to hear.
thanks!
Have Obama, Holder and the SRM made their comments yet about the two young white people that were executed by the black guy in the Family Dollar store in Dearborn? What a disgusting disgrace!!
Statements like this have no place here.
Did she see the edited or unedited video?
The juror is afraid. This country is in a bad state.
This gold-digging woman, Sybrina, is dispicable! She hasn’t raised Trayvon since he was about 3 years old!
I recall ONE TV interview with the woman that DID raise him and she was the one who booted him out after his numerous expulsions from school and his drug usage. That’s why he had to go stay with his dad at his dad’s girlfriend’s place. His momma wouldn’t even let him come live with her.
Why the Hell does the media continue to ignore this?
Warms the cockles of my heart.
Seriously, it was sobering to learn the jury was 50-50 on the initial vote. LIV are a BIG problem.
They FELT... not thought ... he was guilty?
Their stomachs knotted up when they found out that the defendant is innocent until PROVEN guilty. What a travesty, right Maddy?
These grifters are riding their son's hoodie all the way to the bank.
FEELINGS! SHE’S GOT FEELINGS!
At least she didn’t vote her feelings!
It’s his dad’s fault first and foremost; then his mom’s. Where was dad when the boy was getting into all kinds of trouble, eventually becoming unmanageable that mom had to get him out of her house. No, not Mom’s fault...but definitely dad’s. He should have been the leader of that home, and leader in the boy’s life. Had he been there like he should have been, Trayvon would probably be alive today.
AMEN! ...and...AMEN!!!!!! (although I didn’t agree with the part about GZ doing what the Bible says...that he “stoned” Trayvon. That would have been premediated, and this was not the case.
