When you enter northern VA, all the signs proclaim their dedication to eradicating Lyme.
Huge change from 1997 when my girl had her first “episode” from Lyme.
Not a single vet would listen..kept saying she had epilepsy/strokes/ear infections/labryinthitis...you name it.
At the end, they shot big doses of steroids into her and that gave the Lyme its final victory.
Blew out her immune system and the Lyme took her.
I wish I’d started hitting people to make them listen.
I don’t understand the pathology of it, but it is nasty stuff.
