Yep..we’ve done some middle names too..my middle name is my grandmother’s maiden name and my grandson’s first name is my father’s middle name. Cousins have done similar...I guess we got on an ancestor jag.

I like it though- certainly for middle names it’s more interesting than Lee or Ann!
