I think Yates and Thatcher are nice names.

Yardley just doesn’t seem to work for me, though.

Oh, well, is it any worse than all the Zoe, Haley, Kaylee, or McKenzie...names that are all the rage nowadays?

Those aren’t so bad... it’s the parents coming up with cutesy-ass version spellings of the names. (i.e. Zooey, Haylyee, McKynzey).

I almost named my daughter Zoe 24 years ago. The name isn’t new. It was used in books when I was in grade school. Then again Cheyenne and Victoria were runners up but if she ended up being a shy kid it wouldn’t be fair to her, and I didn’t care for the nickname “Vicky” for a reason.
