A man who tried to rob a gun store with a baseball bat was arrested Thursday after the store manager came out armed and ordered him on the ground, deputies said.
It all started at around 4 p.m. at the Discount Guns at 8118 Beaverton Hillsdale Highway when 22-year-old Derrick Mosley came into the store with a baseball bat and smashed a display case, said Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff’s office.
Mosley then took a gun out of the smashed case, but the store manager came out from the back of the store with a gun and ordered him on the ground, Ray said.
