It’s open at night. Park Rangers are only on duty from 9:30am - 11:30 pm.

It’s particularly beautiful at night....and quite crowded with visitors.

Yes, I always enjoyed visiting the monuments late at night. They were even more awe-inspiring with the lights against the dark sky.

My favorite is the Jefferson Memorial at night during cherry blossom season.

No matter how late I went, I was never the only person there, so this must have happened WAY late/early or the vandals were sneaky and bold.
