I guess that would be a start-from-scratch. But for an existing ammo business to add factories that would be cheaper? And anyhow are there any patriotic $10,000,000’aires around who wouldn’t mind sinking half their fortunes?

Have you heard of crowd sourcing? Lots of little guys pre-buying stuff so that the idea can get off the ground. I’ve seen cool concepts raise $500,000+ via crowd sourcing.

It might be an interesting idea to attempt to crowd source an ammo company. Do you think we could get enough people to pre-buy 5 bricks of .22 to raise 5 or 6 million? Maybe 9mm or .40

I read some time ago that a government contracted ammo line was being replaced in MO. Wondered at the time if the old equipment could be purchased cheaply.
