Nope. I have a 2013 Honda Accord and the steering is electric, not mechanical.

Don’t be confused between steering assist (aka power steering) and actual steering linkage.
Take a look under the hood, you’ll see all the traditional mechanism there connecting the steering column shaft to the uprights via the rack and pinion and tie rods.
