When Vice President Joe Biden speaks before a crowd he tries to be as relatable as possible, but Wednesday in India he hinted he might be related to them as well.
The veep spoke before the Bombay Stock Exchange in Mumbai and recounted a letter he received when he was first elected to the U.S. Senate back in 1972.
Off script for a second here one of the first letters I received and I regret I never followed up on it. Maybe some genealogist in audience can follow up for me, but I received a letter from a gentleman named BidenBiden, my namefrom Mumbai, asserting we were related. Seriously, Biden began. Suggesting that our mutual, great, great, great, something or other worked for the East India Trading Company back in the 1700s and came to Mumbai.
Biden then vowed to finally follow up and find out if he and this Biden were related. And so I was thinking about it, if thats true, I might run here in India for office, he joked.

{Dot not Feather}
Either way, it’s retarded.
But this is “Slow” Joe Biden we’re talking about.
Maybe he should “hook up” with Fauxahontas up in MA! I guess we can be thankful (hopefully) that he will never be President!
Be if American or Sub-Continent Indian there are a lot of great names we could use for Biden.
"Hast du gesehen in deine leben?"
Well, I guess his Dunkin’ Donuts comments were not ethnic slurs after all.......
Biden’s Indian name: Not Right In Head
That's not very politically correct. The preferred nomenclature in 2013 is 'hotel not casino'.
...and has a slight Indian accent.
