"It was crazy. Beyond our control," says the manager of the King Convenience store in the 1500 block of U Street in Southeast D.C.
He says a flash mob of teens stole candy, soda and other items from his store Saturday night.
"Bunch of kids, more than 20 or 30, grabbed everything," he says, asking not to be identified. "They grabbed everything and then ran away from the store."
An employee ran outside to try and stop some of the teens involved in the flash mob. He was confronted by one of them armed with a stick and is now recovering at home from his injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'8" tall, 180 pounds, with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a Nike emblem, short-sleeve jean jacket or vest, a white sweatband on his head, and knee-length jean shorts and tennis shoes.
“The previous owner, they locked the store and everything was inside,” the manager says. “We believe in community and opened everything up and try to do business, but sometimes it's hard.”
The new owners, who took over a year and half ago, say they would like to see police patrol the block every two hours or so, and crack down on loitering nearby.
For now, they don't plan to start locking everything up behind glass again.
"I have a lot of good customers, and because of them, I will try to keep it the way it is now," says the manager.

I was in a local bank last week and had the same thoughts. There’s no question about it; you feel vulnerable. And you are.

Although shown clearly on the video, police will be unable to indentify any of the criminals, or to establish a possible motive.
Marx would be happy. The underclass rising up against the oppressors.
Land of defiance perhaps? Blacks are being taught to defy the law. White people are finally getting the message that they are to be satisfied with victimhood and are defying that role. The elected vermin are defying the Constitution and living in constant violation of their oaths. And the entire dying Republic is defying God’s clear directions for living.

You run the risk of being a racist - I would call it “Obama sanctioned wealth redistribution”.
There is an answer, an ugly one, and the usual suspects are going to see it visited upon them unless they have a sudden epiphany.
Personally, I don’t think they will have that epiphany in time.
One of those innocent starving kids could have been Obama 30 years ago. Besides, the store owner had the stuff and they didn’t. In the world of social justice, how is that fair?

It is not so much of problem of a civilized society, in that there are a whole bunch of incredible fools walking around.
I know a bank at a crossroads in Scottsdale, and they were getting robbed at least once a month. The robbers *never* got away, and seldom got more than a few blocks in any direction before being arrested. But it became so annoying, they put a Sheriff’s deputy, in uniform, on a chair to watch the customers. It didn’t matter one bit. The imbeciles kept trying to rob the bank with him sitting there.
Finally they had enough so they put up laminate between the tellers and the customers. There were just a few more attempts before it finally penetrated their pea brains and they stopped trying to rob the place.
And this was before Arizona went full gun liberty. Today even the utter idiots realize that if they try to rob somebody there is a good chance they will be shot. So the saying is that an armed criminal in Arizona is either not from there (probably Mexico), or is so insane they don’t care that somebody else is shooting at them.
Yet, even today, every now and then somebody will be so crazy that they will draw down on an Arizona cop. It is going to be a long time before such people are culled.

Very effective use of social media to commit a criminal/rebellious act. Notice how effectively Blacks can organize as a race to engage in rebellious activities.
All they need are effective leaders, they already have willing militants.
Can Whites do this? When was the last time? Boston Harbor, 1773? Seem to recall some Whites down south standing up, but they weren't supported at all, they were demonized by the 'responsible', 'law abiding' White fools.
Whites can't even form a political party or get even ONE candidate to address any issues from a directly White perspective.
Indeed. Of course we have many on the right, including this board, who insist that whites are 'just a skin color'. Borg are us.
Shouldn't Holder and the DOJ be insisting we publicize all the flash mob robberies done by peoples of other colors? Isn't this just one more proof we are still a hopelessly bigoted racist society?
