Isn’t it overstating the case a bit to say he “rescued” the people in the SUV? He did stop and call it in to 911, but from the recording of the call I heard it sounds like other people actually pulled the victims from the car while he was on the phone. I don’t mean to minimize it, and he certainly assisted... But to say he personally rescued them is perhaps a bit much.

If you mean to say Zim wasn't wearing an "S" and red cape, well then, no, he didn't "rescue" them. Happy now?

You’ve got it backward. Others called 911. He and the gentleman he was with used their fire extinguisher and pulled the family out. He was not mentioned in police report because he didn’t see the accident
