RE:”No, the GOP argument should be to enforce the border and immigration laws on the books, those here illegally and want to stay need to become legal through the process that is already established by existing law.”

Look, this fantasy is really easy to say as an anomalous internet blogger or as a GOP house member in a small district with 95% whites,
but back on the planet earth that will result in the Nov POTUS debate question :
So you mean in enforcing the laws is showing up at their HS graduation and deporting them after they grew up here since 5 yrso and they graduated at top of class now in college and know nothing about the country they were born in?”

Then response we will see will be :’Well, ohhh, oh what was the question again? ah lets change the subject to well maybe I was wrong....”

Its pretty obvious those we select against amnesty better come up with much better than this. Better come to grips that Romney beat the crap out of the others by being the MOST anti-amnesty in the primary, and now where are we??

Except Romney was probably lying about that stand and I think a lot of people knew it.

The idea that a legal immigrant can be thrown out of the country at the slightest unsigned paperwork but the lawbreakers can expect massive piles of government benefits and free passes to break the law is insanity.
