Most journalists consider themselves to be “objective”. What most people consider “objectivity” means, “
people who think the same way that I do.”

What do you mean by objectivity, and how is it practiced?

This is why I prefer to concentrate on honesty and truth. They are easier to show as existing or not.

It doesn't matter what I call ‘objective’.

There is a specific definition for the word and THAT is the standard that journalists are held to as professionals. It is the level that journalistic professionals must achieve and retain if they want to be perceived as relevant credible..

“Expressing or dealing with facts or conditions as perceived WITHOUT distortion by personal feelings, prejudices, or interpretations”
