Hard for me as a Catholic to blame the media when I did not see my own Church putting up much of a struggle.
“If you go to our parish website you will find a link to a video”...yadda yadda. Noting decisive from the pulpit like....oh, I dunno.....IT’S A MORTAL SIN TO VOTE TO RE-ELECT THIS MAN??
Churches are way behind the curve on politics
It is called ‘projection’ - a pyschological medical term
It means you tend to think others are exactly like yourself
If you are a liar, you tend to think everyone else is a liar
If you are a nice person who goes to church you ten to think other people are nice church-goers
So that is why good people in churches are last to realize the evil that is growing in the US government
