Two new polls are out today (one national, the other in California) which underscore just how unimpressed Americans are with the president’s job performance. The latest McClatchy-Marist poll has Barack Obama’s job approval at its lowest level for nearly two years – just 41 percent. It’s his worst showing since September 2011, when his approval hit 39 percent. There can be little doubt that the wave of recent scandals has hurt the president’s standing, and undermined trust in the Administration, especially among Independents. The IRS debacle has been particularly damaging. The president’s floundering on foreign policy hasn’t helped either, with Americans disapproving of his performance in this area by a 48-41 percent margin. The president’s health care reforms are also a significant liability, with numerous polls showing strong public opposition to Obamacare.
But it is Obama’s handling of the economy that is almost certainly hitting him the hardest. According to McClatchy, only 37 percent of Americans approve of Obama in this area, compared to 56 percent who disapprove. Strikingly, 54 percent of Americans still believe the country is in recession, with only 29 percent expecting their family’s finances to improve in the coming year. And, as a new Washington Post-ABC News survey finds, 35 percent of Americans strongly disapprove of the way Obama is handling the economy, compared to just 22 percent who strongly approve.
Worryingly for the White House, support for Obama is eroding even in areas of the country that are solidly liberal. In Democrat-dominated California, the latest Field Poll shows Obama’s job performance rating dropping by ten points since February, with his approval rating standing at 52 percent, down from 62 percent. As the Field pollsters note, disillusionment is sinking in among his traditionally strongest supporters:

The Senate lost 6 seats and went from 44-55-1 to 49-49-2
...and then in 2008 went to 57-41-2 in favor of the dems.
..And we lost the house in 2006 which went from 202-231-1 to 233-198-4
... and then in 2008 went to 256-178-1 in favor of dems.
; all of which led to the reason we now have Obamacare and a lot of other bull$h*t.
I favor that and impeachment. We know that the treasonous Democrats and RINOs will not convict. But the Usurper should at least be put on notice by an impeachment.

That’s the real headline. 41% approve?!
Just today Fox News reported that there will be a new push by Obama’s Housing and Urban Development agency to use census data to see where there are neighborhoods that lack enough diversity quota housing, in other words. The government will bring suit forcing these areas to become more diverse, according to the new head of HUD.
Have you ever heard of a better way to get Obama’s approval rate down to single digits?
Ten minutes ago I got an email from my son telling me that his hours have been cut due to Obamacare.

Obama is a totalitarian - we always knew it, and the public would have known it by now if the press had done its job. But as the tentacles of big government reach further, it will be difficult for the average American not to see what is happening.
In the past the popularity rating was always important, as the higher the approval the more leverage the president had in passing legislation.
Granted, that doesn't seem as big a concern for President 'I'll do it myself'.
Repeal the 17th Amendment.
That will fix the chronic mob rule problem with the senate.
He doesn’t care. He’s going to push this once-great country as deep into marxism as he can.
It does seem as if Obama, who won election twice winning a majority of white voters, is doing his level best to see to it that they NEVER EVER EVER EVER vote for another black candidate again.
Which is a problem for the Democrats, whether they care to admit it or not.
