To: Deadeye Division

The thing that bothered me about this story is that “the wolf lunged at him”.

Having been an owner of a wolf/huskie mix, I doubt that. They just really aren’t guard dogs and seldom even bark. That’s not to say that they aren’t prolific hunters..just not of humans.

The dog may have just stood up to see what was going on..they do look very impressive and scary.

I’m divided on this. The police were chasing someone that may have been a mass murderer for all I know (later proved differently) that had invaded my property. My poor, old goofy, scary looking wolf/mix stands up to see if what ever has jumped over the fence is a possum or raccoon. Police scared...dog scared..bad combination. They would darn sure be paying my vet bills. AND I would probably have an electric wire installed at the top of the fence. To keep out uninvited “guests.

Of course, I kept mine inside because people were scared of him. I miss him..he was a great wolf/dog.
