It’s effective in getting the point across. That’s why they’re upset.
To: cripplecreek
The only disturbing thing about that cartoon is that Sharpton has been allowed to get way with the lynching of the truth for so many years.

I’d say that about nails it. Sharpton and the truth are like oil and water. Of course many people are like that when it comes to race.

Ramerez(sp)from IBD is a genius.I look at his cartoon every day as should all other freepers. They are so on target in hurts, the left.
To: cripplecreek
Truth hurts? I don't find it appalling, at all. I find it waaaaaay past due. If Sharpton’s antics would have been met with a proper response decades ago, a lot of misery could have been avoided.

That is an excellent cartoon ... some folks apparently can’t handle the truth. Sharpton and his cronies actively try to destroy the truth, as depicted in the cartoon.

That's nothing. The political cartoon from the St. Louis Compost was an elephant with a thought balloon with a voting booth that had a sign "whites only" on it. The caption was "I have a dream". I'd paste a link to the pic but couldn't find it on the stltoday.com website, so any assistance would be appreciated. I shot off a short letter to the editor that it was in bad taste and nothing but race baiting. Reminded them of which party was founded as the anti-slavery party as well as which party was in favor of civil right legislation.

Oh come on... anyone who puts themselves in the political arena opens themselves up to this... up until the dawning of the age of Political Correctness, this cartoon would have been considered fair play... even tame...

Poor little Nicholas, whose panties are now knotted beyond repair, is bio’ed thusly:
“Editorial Intern at PolicyMic. I am junior at Tufts University majoring in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership. I have a profound passion for the American political process and a love for my country.”
In other words, college student, who has been conditioned from kindergarten to believe his leftist liberal teachers that one must NEVER counter the likes of Al Sharpton with brutal facts, faints dead away when smacked upside the head with reality.

So let me get this straight:
Sculpture of the Virgin Mary covered in cow dung is a great piece of art according to the NY Times.
A crucifix in a jar of urine is another great work of art.
But this artist’s accurate rendition of Sharpton is beyond the pale and must be banned.
Hypocrites.

Doesn’t hold a candle to how the MSM treats conservative commentators, especially conservative minorities and women.

Well they could have used a more up-to-date metaphor like: Sharpton standing over a baby carriage emptying rounds into babies labelled “Truth” or a Sharpton going all MMA over “Truth” bashing its head into a sidewalk.
