It’s really very simple.
If you claim A (white racism) causes B (black dysfunction), then as B gets worse you must by definition believe that A is getting worse to cause it.
As actual examples of A diminish you must blow out of proportion those remaining and/or invent some when necessary.
The alternative is to face the horrifying possibility that B at present has little to do with A. Which would require facing your own responsibility for the mess you’re in.
The sad part here is that for the last few decades I think American whites have shown astonishing good will toward American blacks. But I also think the race card is getting ready to bounce. I know mine is. And that is very sad.
OTOH, if A makes a resurgence as people just get tired of the nonsense, then they will have a real excuse for B again, which might make them happy.
Good logic here, Sherman, but not unfortunately something the the American people can understand.
