Ann Arbor is full of Toyota Piouses, I mean Priuses.
Don’t even get me started. LOL. My DH’s cousin and her husband lived in A2. He was a teacher who drove his “Pious” 40-50 miles one way to school five days a week. When they were getting ready to move, they asked DH, who has a Ford truck and who drives *2.7 miles* one way to work, to act as their U-Haul.
On moving day, while DH was doing the majority of the heavy lifting, the pasty-faced, soft doughboy of the the overly liberal variety had the nerve to say that the Ford was a “gas hog.” A2 is 55 miles from us. I wish my DH had said, “Yeah, I considered all that gas hogging and potential harm to the planet when you called to ask me to help you move. You’re lucky I decided to come.” :-)
